Our client is a fast-growing boutique financial services firm who is seeking to add a D&O Underwriter to join and develop their team.
What you will achieve in this role
- Mandate is to grow the D&O division
- Take lead of D&O department to scale
- Be part of structuring and designing custom D&O policies to align with large corporations and financial services firms
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Continually develop and leverage your industry knowledge to win business
- Conduct research and analysis on new business
What you must bring to this role
- 5+ years in D&O underwriting
- Education background in accounting, legal, BCom, MBA or CFA
- D&O experience specifically within public company and private equity owned
- Strong experience underwriting medium and large sized clients
- Motivated and drive to succeed
- Strong technical skills
- Remote position
- Exposure to transacting in the United States would be considered an asset
