SUMMARY OF DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day team operations in terms of delivering automated and ad-hoc digital marketing reports and insights
- Lead transition of digital advertising book-of-record reporting, involving integrations of Google Analytics and Facebook offline conversions into existing dashboards
- Lead integration of other digital marketing channels into book-of-record marketing dashboards, including SEO, public site, online banking, and mobile banking app
- Drive standardization of digital advertising measurement across all LOBs through multi-touch attribution, media mix modelling, and A/B lift tests
- Develop a digital advertising insights framework that leads to actional recommendations
- Collaborate with the digital marketing capabilities team to drive increased automation of digital reporting and insights
- Create and develop a team not only focused on developing insights but also presenting insights back to partners to drive strategic improvement
- Enhance digital analytics capability by developing a “best-in-class” analytics teams that delivers meaningful insights that drive measurable business value
- Provide people leadership; oversee people plans and strategies to attract, motivate and retain a highly diverse, qualified and engaged team to fulfill current and future business needs
- Identify and champion digital media and analytics projects and services across all paid, owned and earned assets
- Work with vendors and/or internal partners to develop and integrate advanced techniques for performance measurement and attribution.
- Collaborate with partners on marketing challenges and provide fact-based analytical advice across paid, owned and earned digital activities that aligns to strategy & drives business profitability
MUST HAVE:
- 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, preferably within the context of financial services
- 5+ years experience managing small to mid sized digital marketing analytics teams with experience in identifying and growing talent. -people management skills
- Strong BI/Visualization skills and experience
- 5+ years of relevant experience in digital analytics data with specific experience with the following platforms:
- BI/Data Visualization Platforms: one of, Domo, Power BI, Looker, Datorama – digital marketing analytics
- Marketing Analytics Platforms: one or more of Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, CM360
- Digital Advertising Platforms: one or more of SA360, DV360, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager
- Working experience with digital attribution and marketing mix modelling methodologies
SOFT SKILLS:
- A passion for analytics, high comfort level and interest in interpreting data and results; ability to "tell stories"with data and facts
- Proven leadership experience including demonstrated ability to work in and across teams, manage stakeholders and align leadership
- Strong project management skills and a high attention to detail
- An overall dedication to producing high quality work and desire to continuously learn, develop and do better
- Analytically anchored problem-solving skills including the ability to leverage data to formulate statistical solutions to solve business problems
- A broad understanding of digital marketing data, analytical tools and methods and knowledge of where analytics may add value to marketing and/or business
- Ability to work with senior partners to prioritize work efforts across team and communicate trade-offs, get their trust and buy-ins by helping them understand how different initiatives would generate business value
NICE TO HAVE:
1.) Working experience on marketing use cases with Google Cloud and Big Query would be an asset
2.) Skills and experience with either SQL SAS, PySpark, or Python would be considered an asset
3.) 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, PREFERABLY within the context of financial services
4.) In addition, s/he will have a degree in quantitative discipline, science, engineering, or business/finance is preferred.
